In the latter days of Capital Cars, who had a base at the Post House Hotel, Wally saw me working with a client at the north doors of Terminal 1. He asked me if I would be interested in doing some overflow work for him? I told him I would, and he asked me to meet him at the Post House Bar that night, well I had a London wait and return, which was like gold in the late 70's, so I did not get to the bar until very, very late. As I walked up from the parking area, the glass door crashed open and a body came flying out, and landed right in front of me, with Wally in hot pursuit. He was mad as a hatter with what the drunk had done,in the bar,and was going to punch his lights out. As he went to pick said drunk up, I asked him to hold on, he looked me in the eye and asked why. I replied that I was standing on the drunks neck and he would not be going anywhere, anytime soon. Good boy Wally said, lets go and have a beer and talk business. I thought that night, that working for Wally would be interesting to say the very least. And for the last 30 some odd years it has been. With a lot of laughs in between. In the next posting remind me to tell you the night Wally ruled the world from the Sheraton Hotel in London!!! Dick Hall
